Dimitri Gotsis is the principal and owner of Gotsis Rubic & Barbariolchartered accountants in Five Dock, Sydney, with over 25 years of professional accounting experience. Dimitri has a Bachelor of Economics Degree from the University of Sydney, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA), a registered Tax Agent and is a registered Company Auditor. Dimitri is a specialist in investment property tax, superannuation and other personal and business tax accounting matters, providing timely and valuable advice to clients.
Dimitri is supported in the practice by our experienced and friendly tax and accounting team: Wendy Wong, Ken Ban, Nicholas Gotsis and Tammy Tang . Our administration team includes Therese Metlege at reception and Nina Gotsis as our Office Assistant. Like our clients, our team represent a range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Other languages spoken include Greek, Lebanese and Cantonese.
Tammy Tang completed a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degree in 1998 at the University of Western Australia and became a Chartered Accountant in 2002. Tammy has over 9 years of tax experience gained from working in tax divisions of both public practice and commerce, including Oracle Corporation, Ernst & Young and BDO. She recently joined Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol on a part-time basis. Tammy enjoys working on the tax and accounting issues faced by small taxpayers and also values the friendly and helpful working environment offered by Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol.
Wendy Wong completed a bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney in 2007 majoring in Accounting and Finance. She has completed the CPA program to become a Certified Public Accountant. Wendy has over 3 years experience working in public practice in the Inner West area. Wendy is fluent in Cantonese. Wendy enjoys helping clients and ensuring they are happy with the service Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol provides.
Ken Ban has been working as an accountant for 25 years with experience in accounting, audit and taxation services. Ken holds a bachelor of Accounting Science and is a member of CPA Australia. Ken has been working for Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol since 2010. He enjoys working with clients and helping them get the most out of their time at Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol.
Nina Gotsis has been with Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol for 8 years after working in retail for 3 years. As the Office Assistant her duties include dealing with the mail, filing, photocopying, faxing, banking, petty cash and purchasing provisions for the staff amenities. She also has responsibility for various cleaning tasks. Nina particularly enjoys looking after all of the staff in our office, preparation of morning tea and and various clerical tasks. However, her favourite activity is assisting with our regular mail-outs of information to clients.
Peihua Yao is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Western Sydney. She has been working as an accountant for the last 10 years and with Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol for the last 9 years. Since having her second child, Peihua now works at Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol on a contract basis, on individual and small business tax and accounting. She loves to help clients and ensure that they are happy with the services provided.
